Tis the seasons for holiday shopping and CRAFTING! Learn the art of macrame knotting and create your own plant holder as a gift to yourself, a friend, lover or anyone you would like to create holiday cheer with.
The workshop is hosted by local artist and designer Christie Sommers, of West Oak Design and the ever-inspiring Handmade Today Project.
There is no experience required, all materials are included and Christie will also offer both an entry level and more advanced option. Each participant will leave with their very own plant holder and the knowledge to create many more in their own time.
The workshop will be held at Moon + Arrow on Wednesday, November 29th, starting at 7pm. The cost is $45 and all materials are included. It will run between two and three hours long. Space is limited to ten people and tickets must be reserved in advance through the ticket link below.
West Oak Design is the beautiful child of Christie Sommers. She handmakes clothing for women and home goods in Wyndmoor, PA. Not only do we love Christie's creations, but we love her thoughtfulness and the care she takes to lessen her environmental impact using low to no waste design creativity.
