Moon + Arrow carries a thoughtfully-curated selection of handmade jewels from a talented group of artisans, but did you know that our featured M+A line of jewels are designed and crafted in our shop's in-house jewelry studio?! We are going to be opening up the studio for a series of jewelry-making workshops this summer and fall. The first event, Make Your Own Pendant Workshop, will be held on Sunday, August 12th, hosted and taught by our very own designer and artist/jeweler Monique Peterson.
Join Moon + Arrow's head jeweler Monique Peterson for an introductory workshop, where you will be making your own 2” brass pendant.
In this class you will learn how to cut, drill, file, sand, and polish metal. A flash sheet of designs to choose from will be provided*. All materials and tools will be provided for the workshop, along with either a brass chain or leather cord for your pendant. We will also be offering the option to purchase a gold-fill chain for an additional cost. You will also be able to choose to take your tools home for an up charge of $50 so that you can continue to use the skills you will learn in this workshop at home to make you and your loved ones jewels. >> Get the tools here <<
*If you already have a design in mind, email us to see if the design can be approved for this beginner's class: firstname.lastname@example.org
The class will be about three hours long, depending upon the complexity of the design chosen and quickness of skill.
SPACE IS LIMITED TO SIX PEOPLE> We are keeping this workshop intimate so that each student is given a good amount of time and attention. Tickets will sell out quickly, so reserve your space in advance using the link below Monique's bio.
Monique Peterson is a graduate of University of the Arts Metals program. She maintains a studio and works full time at Moon + Arrow as the head jeweler.
