11/3/19 Macramé Wall-Hanging Workshop with Angela Boltz

Join us at Moon + Arrow for an afternoon of macramé, the art of decorative knotting. Fiber artist, Angela Boltz, will teach a variety of essential knotting techniques and lead us through a demonstration to create a beautiful layered macramé wall hanging.   Students will leave with a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted design and the knowledge to use as a springboard for further creative play.
"Creating fiber art is one of my most cherished slow living rituals. I've fallen in love with the process of working patiently with my hands, taking each moment as it comes, and watching my visions come to life. Mostly, it's for me. It keeps my mind easy, my body grounded, and my spirit fulfilled. Sharing it with you, through custom work and learning, is the juice that flows from here. " Angela
While wooden dowels will be provided for this workshop, Angela strongly encourages you to go out into nature and choose a sturdy stick, about 14-18" long, to build your piece upon.
