Functional and beautiful, Misha and Puff March Maker of the Month

This month we decided to honor Misha and Puff as our Maker of the Month! We are in awe of their new Spring/Summer Collection that was released last month!

Misha and Puff specialize in meticulously made knit pieces for children. Misha and Puff sources materials that produce low environmental impact and are sustainable. Their gorgeous hand knitted onesies, hats, and tanks are made from wool which regulates body temperatures and stays soft, never itchy! Also, wool yarn is naturally flame retardant without all the chemicals.

The Misha and Puff team believes in supporting the artisan, they say this about their makers, "We strictly adhere to fair trade policies, paying a fair wage as well as being involved in the lives of our craftspeople. Many of our knitters have been with us from the beginning, and now are heads of groups, managing many other knitters. We have a knitting center in a remote part of the city of Peru, yet close to our knitter's homes. This allows them to drop by, collect yarn, get paid, and connect with other knitters. The center also has an early education after school program, as well as offers meals for kids."

Misha and Puff was founded in 2011 by Anna  Wallack after her son was born. She lived in New England and knitted her baby clothes through the harsh winters.

Drawing on over ten years of experience as a stylist, as well as a personal understanding of what works well for little ones, Anna has created a collection that is special yet unfussy. We love the thoughtfully designed and handcrafted pieces made by Misha and Puff, available in our store and soon to be sold on our online shop.
