Wood fired pottery dates back to the dawn of the craft itself; the process involves all of nature's elements. In a world of electricity, wood fired kilns are rare and revered. Working with clay always comes with its surprises, but wood firing takes unexpected to the next level. This collection is made up of porcelain & stoneware pieces which were thrown or pinched. The unique atmosphere created from burning pine and oak resulted in burnt oranges, gorgeous golden crystals, and plenty of fun surprises! Each piece was fired for 36 hours and is completely one of a kind. Enjoy!
