PT Sales Associate Position

Part time: 8-20 hours a week (Hours fluctuate dependent on store needs)
Pay: $17/hr 

Summary:

Moon+Arrow seeks an experienced, personable, and motivated part-time sales associate to join our team. This position will work closely with the entire team to ensure that Moon+Arrow’s sales goals are met and that our customers feel valued and supported.

This role requires strong customer service skills, problem-solving skills in a sometimes fast-paced environment, and confidence in engaging with customers. The ideal candidate must also appreciate the mission and values Moon+Arrow works hard to uphold in environmental sustainability and supporting small ethical artisans and makers.  

Duties:

  • Warmly welcome and educate customers on the Moon + Arrow vision and products.
  • Remain available and attentive to all customers in the shop at all times
  • Clean and maintain store aesthetic
  • Pack up and ship occasional online orders 
  • Support merchandising  
  • Support inventory management
  • Opening and closing tasks
  • Keyholder

You MUST be available to work Saturdays and Sundays and days leading up to major holidays including the day before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Christmas eve. 

Skills/Requirements:

Kind and friendly demeanor. Strong understanding and commitment to customer service. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and proactive attitude. Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and self-directed to take action and resolve problems. Product knowledge is a must. Self-motivated team member able to assist other coworkers with daily responsibilities. Must be able to stand for long periods and comfortably lift 40 pounds and stand for 4-6 hours.

Prior retail experience is strongly preferred.

Part-Time Sales Associate + Creative Assistant

Summary

Moon+Arrow is seeking an experienced, personable, and creatively minded Part-Time Sales Associate + Creative Assistant to join our team. This role supports both the daily retail operations of the shop and creative behind-the-scenes projects that help bring the Moon+Arrow vision to life.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, proactive, and has a strong appreciation for independent design, sustainability, and supporting ethical artisans and makers. This position will work closely with the entire team to ensure sales goals are met while maintaining the thoughtful, welcoming experience Moon+Arrow is known for both in-store and online.

This role requires strong communication skills, confidence engaging with customers, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and an eye for visual storytelling and aesthetics.

Duties

  • Clean and maintain store aesthetic and organization
  • Pack and ship occasional online orders
  • Support merchandising and visual displays
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking
  • Opening and closing tasks
  • Keyholder responsibilities
  • Support creative projects including:
    • Social media content creation
    • Product photography and styling assistance
    • Newsletter and marketing support
    • Assisting with shop events and seasonal installations
    • General creative and administrative support as needed

You must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays, as well as days leading up to major holidays including the day before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Christmas Eve.
