Introducing Tiffany Cooper!
We are so excited to introduce you to Tiffany Cooper! We will be hosting a workshop with Tiffany on Sunday, July 26th, 2020 from 1 pm-4 pm through Zoom.
Tiffany began her journey with yoga in 1997 while living in Santa Monica, California. After moving to Yardley, Pennsylvania she found a supportive community of yoga practitioners and decided she wanted to share the many gifts yoga has given to her with other people. She is certified in Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Bhakti Yoga.
Tiffany lives a life of deep spiritual connection. She has a strong sadhana of studying sacred texts. She is a Usui Reiki Master and a Four Winds trained Shaman who has received all of the Munay-Ki healing rites. As an Energy Reader, she uses her connection to the supernatural world to do readings that help others connect.
Q: Can you tell us about your background?
I don’t know where to start! Hmmmmm, let’s see...my most favorite thing about my life is I am a Mother of 3 cherished adult children! They are truly the sunshine of my life. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I moved to New York City to attend fashion school then worked in the garment district. From there I moved to Santa Monica, California where I continued to work in fashion. Then I came to Yardley, Pennsylvania to raise my family. My life is steeped in my spiritual practices. I worked hard to put my entire life on a single continuum (no more compartmentalizing...this is my work life, this is my family life, this is my spiritual life, etc.) so that I could live my life as authentically and meaningfully as possible.
I love to explore, learn, and connect! I sometimes have a hard time relating to the material world and why it is so appealing to some. There is so much more for us to do in life besides “eating, mating, sleeping and defending” which is exactly what any animal can do. We are meant to be much more than animals. If we do not go beyond the base expressions of life we are not really living. When my father left this world the message I got over and over was “Life is too short”. I decided right then and there that I would no longer waste my short precious time on this earth.
Q: We are so taken by how well versed you are in your energy work, what made you decide to enter the world of healing?
I was born an energy worker. I came into this world with certain abilities that gave me a different perspective on life than others. However, I still experienced the challenges and hardships that life puts us all through. This gave me the ability to relate to what I sensed in others on a deeper level. I don’t like to see other beings suffer and I want to see as many as possible thrive.
I was very strongly called to each of the healing paths I have chosen. Particularly, with shamanism, I tried to resist (I had so much going on in my life and I thought I couldn’t add another thing!) but the path made sure that I did not.
I also know that our talents and abilities are meant to help others and not just to serve our own selfish gratification. All ancient texts say on some level that “the purpose of human life is to love God and serve one another”. My desire is to live according to my purpose...to be as loving and genuine as I can be. I absolutely refuse to waste my life!
Q: You have decided to donate Moon + Arrow’s portions to Sandi Pani Muni School/FFLV. Tell us about this girls school in India.
Sandi Pani Muni school has a very special place in my heart. I visited the school in February of 2019. What is being done there is truly one of those miracles that happen in a sacred place like Vrindavan!
Sandi Pani Muni School for girls was started by an organization called Food for Life Vrindavan. FFLV was started to distribute sacred food to people who are struggling and can barely feed themselves. Once the program got started they realized they could fill another need by educating and caring for girls who had no other means of getting the basics to survive. The school provides 3 meals a day, clean water, uniforms, medical care, and of course a proper education to the poorest girls in the area. If it were not for the school many of the girls who attend would be begging on the street. In India, girls are often undereducated and are sometimes seen as a liability to a family that cannot afford to provide a dowry upon marriage. The school also saves money for the girls should they decide to marry. If they do not marry they can take the money and put it toward a University education which some have already done!
Q: How has this school changed your life?
To look at the glowing smiling faces of those girls knowing that their circumstances were once very different filled my heart. To see how the school is changing not only their lives but their communities as well, by uplifting the energy of these girls so that they can contribute in a meaningful way is beautiful. To me, the school serves as a precious example of how we can change the world when we have pure intentions.
I chose the organization because it and Vrindavan, where it is located, are deeply rooted in my heart. Vrindavan is a mystical and holy place. It is the playground of Lord Krsna! Love and devotion permeate the air. It is the most transcendental place I’ve ever been. I floated on a cloud the entire five weeks I was there. Once you go there you can never forget it. It is the dissolution of the ego. It changes you forever.
Q: Please share a mantra that our readers can use today, and live by every day.
The most powerful and transcendental mantra is the Maha-mantra. It purifies your consciousness...your entire being. When chanted sincerely and regularly it changes your life. It is calling out to the divine to be with you and infuse you with the energy of divine love. This transcendental sound vibration is one you can never get tired of chanting:
Hare Krsna Hare Krsna
Krsna Krsna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare
(pro: Har-ay Krish-na)
Thank You!
