Looking for Maileg?

We've noticed quiet a few people searching for Maileg through our website. If you are looking for Maileg toys and are confused why you can't find them on our website, we understand!

Unfortunately on January 1st 2024 we were told by Maileg that due to State regulations in Pennsylvania we are no longer LEGALLY allowed to sell Maileg toys or any toys with recycled polyester in the stuffing from here on out. We were heart broken when we had to return every single Maileg item we had in the shop, our favorite little mice were all the sudden missing from our shelves. 

State regulations require the use of all new materials in toy stuffing, which deters many brands from using sustainable recycled material. Manufacturers who do choose recycled materials are unable to sell their products in these states. To comply with and adhere to the rules our distributors must follow, we are unable to ship the Maileg collection to our customers who live in these two states. 

Since then we have personally contacted our state representatives countless times to try and repeal this law. This is not a choice that we have control over. These laws have been on the books since 1961 (and recently enforced) and don't take into account the current safe and innovative practices used to create recycled materials. This law is only enforced in Pennslyvania and Ohio. 

At Moon+Arrow, we believe strongly in sustainable practices and support brands working to lessen the toll on our planet by using recycled materials. We are hopeful that these two states will look more closely at these laws and consider the impact they are having on bringing high-quality, sustainable toys to market.
