Meet the Curator: Selah Bowman of Serendipity Vintage

We’re so excited to welcome vintage curator and visual artist Selah Bowman to Moon+Arrow this month with a stunning selection from her shop, Serendipity Vintage. Selah’s collection captures the magic of the 60s and 90s, blending breezy silhouettes with bold personality and timeless details.

Selah lives and works in Philadelphia, where she runs her vintage clothing and accessories shop both online and through in-person pop-ups around the city. What began as a personal passion for thrifting has blossomed into a beautifully curated business rooted in sustainability and self-expression.

“My business was born of a love for secondhand shopping and collecting beautiful things,” Selah shares. “When I started thrifting most of the clothing in my wardrobe, that’s when my personal style really developed. My love for vintage grew quickly from there.”

Selah believes in giving clothing a second life, not just to reduce textile waste, but to help people discover their own unique style. Vintage, after all, is fashion with a story. It’s an invitation to stand out while treading lightly on the earth.

Her favorite eras? The dreamy, free-spirited 60s and 70s, and their playful 90s revivals.

“I grew up idolizing the musicians of the 60s and their fashion statements and I definitely wished I could wear everything Phoebe Buffay wore on Friends.”

When sourcing her pieces, Selah is drawn to fine details and craftsmanship: delicate embroidery, whimsical prints, intricate beadwork, and flattering silhouettes that bring joy. She selects items that carry history but feel effortlessly wearable today.
