Shaakira’s path to Ginja Snap began not in a boardroom, but in the kitchen. She started experimenting with fresh ginger and lemon, brewing tonics that were as restorative as they were delicious. Friends and family were the first to taste her blends, encouraging her to share them with a wider community. What began as a side project quickly blossomed into a small-batch company with a loyal following.
Building Something Shelf-Stable and Strong
One of Shaakira’s biggest challenges was making her drinks shelf-stable without losing their vibrant flavor and integrity. Through research, testing, and sheer persistence, she developed a process that allowed Ginja Snap to expand into more shops, market.

She has spoken openly about the challenges and triumphs of growing Ginja Snap, from funding hurdles to the joy of seeing customers return again and again for their favorite bottle.
