Emilie Shapiro Gardenia Earrings

The Arcadia collection was born from the arrival of spring. As the ice fades and unveils the first buds, it's time to awaken and celebrate. It's a moment to bask under the sun's warm embrace, feeling its kiss upon your face. Pearls adorn textured metal shapes in these fanciful earrings, completed with sterling silver post backs. Emilie's inspiration comes from growing up on the Atlantic coast, where the ever-present water has guided her. She hails from a lineage of artistic pioneers, inventors, and free spirits who encouraged her to explore a variety of mediums. In her work, Emilie employs the ancient craft of lost wax casting, dating back to the Egyptians, where she meticulously carves wax into sculptural pieces, later casting them into metal. Her pieces often incorporate raw gemstones, celebrating their natural imperfections. Production and materials are sourced locally, and each piece is handcrafted in Emilie's New York City studio.
