Spartan Made is the creative partnership of Doug Reilly and Amy Gallop. Their business started in a 1947 Spartan Manor travel trailer where they lived and worked for seven years, in the foothills of the Catskills in Oneonta, NY. Their first products were items they designed and made for themselves in their off-grid tiny home. Spartan Made creates high-quality handcrafted soft goods using carefully selected materials and a zero-waste ethos. Each item is sewn one at a time on antique, industrial sewing machines, emphasizing durability as a core design value. They aim to infuse their creations with the belief that the built environment matters, that beauty should be part of our everyday experience, and that well-made, fair, and locally sourced items hold lasting value.
